Realism

Individual artists. A shared standard.

Leviathan Tattoo Company is a custom tattoo studio in Virginia Beach built around thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and a genuine respect for the people who wear our work.

Our team brings together artists with different styles and creative strengths. What connects us is our approach: listen to the client, take the design seriously, and give every piece the attention it deserves. From a small, personal tattoo to a full sleeve, we consider how the artwork moves with your body, reads at a distance, and will wear over time.

You don’t need to walk through our doors with a finished design. Bring your ideas, your references, or a concept you haven’t quite figured out. We’ll help you explore the possibilities, offer honest artistic guidance, and develop a direction that feels right for you. We want you to feel comfortable asking questions and understand the choices behind your tattoo—from placement and sizing to the details that make it yours.

Behind the artwork is a culture of collaboration and continued learning. We believe in supporting our artists, sharing knowledge, and developing the next generation of talent. That commitment to growth is part of the standard we bring to our work every day.

Rooted in the Hampton Roads community, we welcome first-time clients, longtime collectors, and the military service members who call this area home. Our goal is to be a studio you trust, feel comfortable in, and return to as your collection grows.
